Today I tried Techno Stampers – Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge. Here’s the sketch:

I really like how my card came out. I used a 6×6 lilac card base, added some white card stock, packing foam, butterflies cut from paint chip samples and this is what happens…
Don’t forget to carry the design inside the card!!!

It’s here, Inspire Swap Chat’s first official blog hop. Along this journey you will be introduced to some amazing Birthday Themed projects. Hopefully you just arrived here from Inspire Swap Chat! If not, I’d like to guide you back to the beginning at Inspire Swap Chat so you can hop along, and enter to win an adorable birthday themed basket filled with goodies to make scrapbook pages or cards!
I will have different projects for each day of the blog hop from the 27th – 29th, so don’t forget to come back each day to take a look.
Today’s are projects are from a Birthday Card Kit Swap I did. We were partnered up and sent the supplies to each other to create the cards. Here are my two cards I made.
I love how you can take a stamped image and make it pop by cutting it out and using foam adhesive to raise it up.
I hope you are enjoying the blog hop so far. The ISC members are so creative that I know you must be. But it is not over yet–you still have 6 more stops and then the final stop at Inspire Swap Chat! Next is Sara aka Austinmom. Believe me you will be happy you stopped by to see what she created. Enjoy the rest of the hop and don’t forget in order to be eligible for the great prize package you will need to leave a comment on all the members blogs along with a final comment on the Inspire Swap Chat blog letting us know what your favorite project was.

Today’s projects are birthday cards for Youth – keeping it young and fun. I also wanted to use minimal supplies – take a look at what I used:
White base cardstock, black and red accent papers, cream “Top Note” centers, various stamps and Tim Holtz Grungeboard – Harlequin Elements.
Here are my creations:
I recently read some Do’s and Don’t of cardmaking…One of the top items was “Don’t forget to carry your design to the inside of the card”. It doesn’t have to be fancy you just need to add a little something to the inside.

Today’s projects are a couple simple LunchBag Notecards. They are perfect to put in your honey’s lunch or the kids. They are make with a simple black card base, purple card stock for some color and 3D birthday stickers. I used Martha Stewart’s Opaque Markers. They are great when writing or decorating on dark card stock.
