For a SS swap I was doing my crafter loved flavored coffee. I found these individual ones at Safeway and decided they needed a little flare. I cut a 2 1/2″ x 12″ strip and scored it at 5 1/2″ from both ends, folded it around the coffee and tied with ribbon. They turned out really cute.

In an effort to be more organized with my swaps, upcoming projects and mailings I installed two wall files for easy access to what I need and what I am mailing. I used rubon’s from a swap to decorate them. It’s working so far…my next tackle is scrap paper. Stay tuned.

The other day I was using my favorite tape – Terrifically Tacky Tape – and came to the end of my 1/4″ one. I realized that it still had a usable piece of tape on it so I tried it on my wrist and said “YES” it will work. I took out my heat gun, beads and got working. First I heated up the tape, covered it in beads, then color the outside edge black. For finishing touches I added a layer of Mod Podge to it. I love how it turned out and can’t wait to finish my other ones to make more bracelets.

Searching the internet for inspiration yesterday, I came across a blog that had an excellent tutorial on making a 3 Pocket Notecard Holder. Patty’s Stamping Spot had some other great tutorials you should check out.
The 3 Pocket Notecard Holder was very easy to make and is a perfect gift for mother, sister, girlfriend, co-worker. I liked it so much that I am going to make a few to keep on hand when I need a gift in a flash. Here’s how mine turned out.

I really love this swap…here is my second set of hostess gifts – die cuts done a little bit different. I reused the packaging from the Studio G $1 stamps and made my own insert. Put in the die cuts, made a tag and off they went in the mail today.
I started doing swaps on Slipcoaststampers a few months ago and one really took my fancy. It was to send Mother’s Day gifts to someone you don’t know to make her day extra special. I decided that I couldn’t just do one but I needed two spots for the special mom’s in my life. I hope they really enjoy their gifts when they get them.
As for the two Ladies I am sending to I made very different packages. Take a look at the photos below…

I joined a “You Pick the Theme” Circle Journal Swap and one of the ladies was making a scrapbook as a baby shower gift for her friend. I chose to make an “All about me” page and just love how it turned out. I printed on the patterned paper to make it nice and clean. Used a cuttlebug embossing folder to make the photo matte stand out. And of course the Prima’s to make it look pretty.
