Birthday gift for a friend. I put a mirror and manicure kit inside. I used mod podge to adhere the papers, painted the top and stamped her initial then covered with mod podge. She loved it. See more photos below.

My craft space has been a work in progress over the last two years. I first shared it with the baby until he was old enough to join his brother in their room. Bill (hubby) put in these counter tops from Ikea for me. I got the bookcases from Wal-Mart and the supply shelves on the desk I found on Craigslist. I need one more so hopefully dear hubby and father in law can make it for me. I will post updates if it happens…

Sending warm thoughts your way…here is a cute hot chocolate holder I made last night. I love the mint I attached. You can add it to your cuppa or eat it on its own.

I bought these mini tins the other day and here is my first altered one. It’s a birthday present for a friend. I made it so she could be love notes and treasures from hubby in it.

I covered it in papers from Marcella K – Remix Collection.

I have been working on cards the last few days. I decided that I had a great color for the background but it needed something else…well why not stamp it. I love the way a stamp looks when you choose a color close to the cardstock. It’s kind of like a watermark. You can also use versamark to make watermarks as well.
