My stand broke on my Ipod case so instead of paying $15 for a new case I made my own.
I used two binder clips – one Large and one Medium. Insert the Medium clip into the mouth of the Large clip and you done.
To make a little more fancy add some ribbon.
You can also use it as a cellphone stand.
I work for a construction company doing admin work on a jobsite. I love it!!!! It’s like cardmaking, you have a plan and build the product, we do the same thing.
My superintendent went to purchase me a hard hat and our supplier decided to give me one instead. It happened to be a HOT PINK hard hat.
So in the creative way I do things….I decorated my hard hat. I used my Silhouette SD machine to cut out the vinyl decorations. I love how it turned out.
Before…
After…
I have a few blank spots on the back but I think I made it busy enough. They will certainly know its me coming.
My in-laws are renovating their kitchen and had some scrap melamine hanging around. I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to snatch it. My father in law cut to size for me as well. They were using it to line the shelves and drawers, so I decided, I would use it for book covers and today I used it for the backing to my 2010 Wall Calendar.
I used Stampin Up’s Pattern Pack II for the background paper. The calendar and phrase was printed and cut from my Silhouette SD machine. I added primas and rhinestones as embellishments. Then I added ribbon as the hanger.
I took on the weekly challenge at ISC…Colors light blue and light green with white, Theme winter, Must also add 2 kinds of fiber.
Here’s my simple winter card:

Another great sketch from Stamping 411. I enjoyed putting this Christmas card together.
I love adding different textures with ribbon, embossing, shiny and matte papers. It gives the card a lot of movement.
I tried the Stamping 411 Challenge 126 tonight. I made a Christmas card using red, black and white.

Here’s mine:
Another great sketch from Card Patterns.

I am trying out how many different ways I can use the same die cuts…here’s another card using dies from my Silhouette SD machine.
I love these papers from Stampin Up.
I was inspired by Connie at Inkspired Treasures spilt step card. She gave the layout to make our own. I used my Silhouette SD machine to make the layout and cut the card for me. I used other elements from my die cut library to put this Happy Birthday Card together for my 4 yr old’s friend.
I even added a cute paint set for him to use as well. Kids usually don’t like cards but when you add a toy of some kind they love them.
Another challenging sketch from Stamping 411. I made two this time. Check out the sketch.

The cards I made used stampin up papers, elements were cut from my Silhouette SD machine, and misc. stamps. I love the bold colors together with a simple design.
I love the intricate detail of the fairy.
Simple Birthday Card.
Card Patterns has a great sketch this week that I just had to try. I got so excited when I saw it and had the perfect elements for the card. Here is the sketch.
And I came up with this…
I used a 6×6 lilac card base, cut my elements from my Silhouette SD machine, and a piece of ribbon.
Simple and effective with using a background stamp from Stampin Up to give the cardstock some design.
